Our relationships shape our sense of safety, belonging, and self-worth — so when they struggle, it touches everything. Whether you're healing from heartbreak, caught in the same painful patterns across different partners, or wanting to build stronger, more honest connections, relationship therapy offers a space to understand yourself in relation to others.
You don't have to be part of a couple to do this work. Much of it is about your own patterns — how you attach, trust, set boundaries, and cope with closeness or conflict. Changing those patterns can transform how you show up in every relationship: romantic, family, and friendship.
We also work with people recovering from breakups, divorce, betrayal, or loss — at a pace that honours what you've been through.

- You want healthier boundaries without shutting people out
- You're single and want to understand your patterns before the next relationship

What to expect
Understanding your patterns
We explore your relationship history and the early experiences that shaped how you connect — often revealing why the same struggles keep appearing.
Healing what hurts
Together we work through past hurts, betrayals, or losses that may still be influencing how you relate today.
Building healthier bonds
You'll develop the self-awareness, boundaries, and trust needed to create relationships that feel secure and mutually supportive.
Our approach
Our therapists draw on attachment-informed, systemic, and emotionally focused approaches, alongside EMDR where past trauma is involved. We tailor the work to whether you come alone or with someone else.
This is compassionate, unhurried work in a space where you can be fully honest about the things that are hardest to say.

Frequently asked questions
Can I come on my own, without a partner?
Yes — a lot of relationship work is individual. Understanding your own patterns can transform how you relate, whether or not you're currently in a relationship.
Is this different from couples therapy?
They overlap, but this work centres on your relationship patterns across your whole life — partners, family, and friends. If you'd like to work on a specific relationship together, our couples and family therapy may be the better fit. We're happy to help you choose.
I keep choosing the wrong people. Can therapy change that?
It often can. When you understand the patterns and needs driving your choices, you can start making different, healthier ones — not overnight, but with real clarity.
How soon after a breakup should I come?
Whenever you feel ready. Some people need space first; others find support early helps them grieve without getting stuck. There's no 'right' timeline — only what feels right for you.
Ready to take the first step?
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. Reach out today and let us support you on your journey.
